This session was so much fun! Kelley and Scott are one of my couple’s planning a wedding for January. They are fun and adventurous, so what better place to do the engagement session than at Adventure Landing? They played putt-putt golf and we used the great colors and vibrant scenes to create images that celebrate their engagement and playful relationship. Love it!

Last month, I visited my family in Las Vegas since my brother James and sister-in-law Jenny were doing a vow renewal at a little wedding chapel right off the strip. Of course, I was there also to take photographs
We started with a quick session at the Las Vegas sign and finished up with some pictures at the chapel. The next day, we shot their family Christmas card photo at this cute pond in their neighborhood. I wanted to capture the Vegas style again, so we did black clothes and cool poses.
Here are a few of my favorite shots.
P.S. Isn’t my niece the cutest?? I love her!

The Southern Women’s Show was this weekend, October 16-19 at the Prime Osborn Convention Center in downtown Jacksonville. The Southern Women’s Show had everything from “savvy shopping to creative cooking ideas & healthy lifestyle tips. Plus, there were trendy fashion shows, great celebrity guests, and fabulous prizes.”
I was pleased to be a new exhibitor at the show and loved seeing my current clients there as well as meeting some new ones. My booth was geared toward the portrait side of my business and highlighted engagement, maternity, family and children’s photography. I also showcased my Peek romance photography.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my booth and also for visiting my website and blog.
Please let me know how I can capture your life in style.
Angie and Wayne recently celebrated their upcoming wedding with an engagement session in the historic district of St. Augustine. We used the architecture and sunset light to capture some really great images of the two of them. I especially loved this image of their shadows reflected on the cool textured wall. Congratulations to Angie and Wayne!

Wow! What an event! Nicole and Danny did an amazing job with their ceremony held on Saturday, October 4 at Immaculate Conception downtown Jacksonville and the evening reception at the Omni. The whole day was drenched in luxury from the fragrant white orchids and red roses to the amazing celebrity band and first rate cake. They even had a carriage fit for a princess pick them up from the church! The wedding was classy, elegant and fun. Their friends and family danced all night long! Congratulations to Nicole and Danny!

Patricia is one of my former brides and the fantastic make-up artist that did all of the make-up on the ladies featured on my Peek website. She and her husband Micky are expecting their first child and celebrated this special time with a maternity portrait shoot for Patricia. Her mom made the dress she is wearing just for the occasion! It turned out spectacularly and very glamorous. I can’t wait to meet the new baby in a few weeks!

A few weeks ago, I photographed Nicole for her Senior photos. She and her mom were satisfied with the required school photos, but also wanted something a little different from the norm. We decided that an outdoors photo session would suit her personality. Nicole is very outgoing, but I also wanted to showcase her artistic side since she is a dancer. We used the beach in a different way to give us images that are unique. Nicole hopes to go to UF next year and I wish her luck!

Just last night I came home from a long weekend in Las Vegas to visit my family. My brother and sister-in-law held a small vow renewal ceremony at one of those little chapels near the strip, so I went for that and stayed a few extra days. The vow renewal was fun and I can’t wait to show you all the rockin’ wedding pictures we took with Vegas style, but I have to tell you about the cutest little store in Vegas. It’s a small shop dedicated to Bettie Page, the famous brunette pin-up girl from the ’50’s. She’s the one with the fabulous bangs and curvy figure. The flagship store is located in Planet Hollywood and has some of the cutest dresses and accessories. I especially loved the pin-up artwork and all the accessories that are perfect for boudoir photo shoots. So, let’s just say…I’m inspired and really looking forward to my upcoming Peek sessions and Diva Days! Bettie’s style is sexy and alluring without showing too much skin. Just like my Peek sessions! Check out their website to see what I’m now officially crazy about: http://www.bettiepageclothing.com/
and stay tuned for those cool Vegas wedding pics!
