Last Friday night, even Tropical Storm Faye couldn’t put a damper on the love and fun found at Ashley and John’s wedding! The ceremony and reception were both held at the First Baptist Church downtown Jacksonville. The couple enjoyed a romantic candle lit ceremony with family and friends and then greeted their guests afterwards. One of my favorite parts of the day was the “grand exit” they made as their guests cheered them along with blue and white pom-poms. Congratulations to Ashley and John!

I’ve just returned from Convention and wanted to post just a couple images from our photo safari at Epcot. We were lucky enough to have access to the park for 2 hours before it opened to the public! We had professional models with us that were great to photograph, but I really enjoyed the unobstructed views of the Planet Earth attraction and some of the details.
This weekend and most of next week, I will be in Orlando at the Florida Professional Photographers annual Convention in Orlando. The convention is tons of fun and very educational. I will be studying with some of the country’s top portrait and wedding photographers and picking up the latest Photoshop techniques as well as the hot, new products for my clients. Tuesday morning, a group of us are going on a photo safari to Epcot! Of course, in the evenings there are parties, banquets and other social events. I’m really looking forward to it and will definitely try to make time to post some interesting news and photos from the convention. Today (August 19) is Nicolette’s 13th birthday! A few days ago, we did a photo shoot for Nicolette at Memorial Park downtown on the riverfront and got lots of fun and fashionable images. Nicolette is not only a beautiful girl, but she’s athletic too and plays basketball and volleyball. Happy birthday to Nicolette!
We dodged the rain for this one! It had rained all day and cleared just in time for Jenna and Bryce’s engagement session at the beach Thursday night. I loved the moody effect the clouds created! Here are a few of my favorites. I look forward to your wedding this spring! Congratulations!
Nicole and Danny celebrated their upcoming wedding with an engagement session this week. We started the session downtown Jacksonville at Friendship Fountain so we could have great views of the city and then made our way over to San Marco. Congratulations to Nicole and Danny on your engagement!
What a gorgeous couple, a gorgeous day and a gorgeous location! On Saturday, Renee and Justin were married beach front at Casa Marina. Since it had been raining off and on during the week, they decided to tent the courtyard, just in case. Well, it never rained, but the tent provided some awesome pictures! They had beautiful colored lights underneath that really set a romantic mood. Congratulations to Renee and Justin on a beautiful wedding!

This post is a little different. I’ve decided to post a few behind the scenes images from our first ever Peek Romance Photography “Diva Day”. On Sunday, five beautiful women were treated to a fun and girly fashion shoot at a luxury oceanfront hotel- One Ocean. We enjoyed the gorgeous location, mimosas, goodie bags and girl talk while capturing gorgeous boudoir images for the launch of the new Peek website. I’ve decided to post the images on the website first. So, check back this week for the launch! You won’t be disappointed
