Image Wins 2nd Place in Local Print Competition

Last night, an image I photographed of Monica and Sarkis at their wedding won second place in the Professional Photographer’s Society of North Florida (PPSNF) People’s Choice print competition! This image was created by using mostly the light available from the chandelier and an off-camera flash held by my assistant who is standing inside the room to the left of the bride and groom. I am standing outside the door to create a frame around them and a sense of privacy. The idea for the image came to me as soon as I saw the beautiful chandelier and door handles. We are at the Hilltop Restaurant during the reception. I hope you enjoy it!

Amy and Matthew’s Wedding at Epping Forest

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of photographing Amy and Matthew’s wedding at Epping Forest Yacht Club. The weather was perfect for a beautiful ceremony just before sunset. After the vows, Amy and their guests enjoyed dinner and dancing. Congratulations Amy and Matthew!

Megan and Ford Engagement Session-Downtown

Last night, Megan and Ford met me downtown at Memorial Park for their engagement session. This spot is special to them since they live in a neighborhood nearby and are within walking distance. So, we started our session at the park, moved over to Starbucks for a few, and ended at their favorite local restaurant. All my best to you both!

Amanda and Daniel Engagement Session

Thursday night, I met Amanda and Daniel out at the beach for their engagement portrait session and was pleasantly surprised to see that they brought their dog with them! They have a really cute black lab that we included in a few photographs. Congratulations to Amanda and Daniel on your upcoming wedding!

Holly & Ryan Engagement Session

This week, Holly and Ryan came out to the beach for their engagement session in preparation for their wedding this summer. While we were there we also included their daughter Brianna in a few family images. I’m really having fun with the reflections on the sand right now and loved how their family photo turned out. Melissa and Chris beach engagement

This weekend, I met Melissa and Chris out at the beach for a sunset engagement session. The beach is looking really wonderful this summer. We’ve been getting great sherbet colored light and the sand is gorgeous. Melissa and Chris are planning a fall wedding this year. All my best to you both!

Monica and Sarkis’ Wedding

Yesterday Monica and Sarkis’ had a beautiful ceremony in Orange Park at the Hilltop Restaurant. They exchanged vows by the lily pond and celebrated with family and friends. The Hilltop is a very quaint and picturesque location with chandeliers and warm tones. I took advantage of the unique details to create some romantic images. Ok, so I’m off today and my hubby’s out of town for work. So, I’ve got some time for goofing around. I thought I’d check out this new website my assistant, Stephanie told me about. It’s called Bitstrips. You can create your own comic strips. Let me tell you. This is soooo much fun! So, I created a comic based on my little yorkie, Hogan. I hope you enjoy it!
