Friday evening, Lindsey & Clay celebrated their wedding with family and friends at the Lightner Museum in St. Augustine. They exchanged vows on the courtyard bridge as beautiful coy fish swam beneath them. After the ceremony, they danced the night away and were sent on their way with a bubble send-off. Best of luck Lindsey and Clay!

Technically, this was not an engagement session since Lindsey and Kirby are already married. But, they still wanted some romantic beach portraits taken and I was happy they contacted me! They are a sweet couple and I’m glad I met them. Here are a few of my favorites from Friday’s sunset photo session.

This Sunday, Lindsey & Marc exchanged wedding vows at the gorgeous Ribault Club in Fort George Island, FL. This is one of my favorite locations because of the gorgeous natural light that shines through all of the many windows. Ribault Club also has gorgeous grounds, so we took advantage of both of these to create natural and romantic images of Lindsey and Marc’s wedding celebration. The black and white backdrop was highlighted by bright yellow flowers expertly designed by Liz Stewart. The guests celebrated into the evening with one of my favorite DJ’s, Carlton McGee. Best Wishes Lindsey & Marc!

It’s not very often that I have the time to take photos just for me and not for clients. (Especially this busy wedding season.) But, tonight I was lucky enough to attend a workshop held by the Professional Photographers Society of North Florida, an organization with which I am actively involved. The workshop was organized by my fellow photographer, Scott Beahan. Scott arranged for the horse and model and came up with the idea for a renaissance theme. About 20 other photographers attended and we used the opportunity to explore new ideas and our own creativity. The first photo here just shows you how we had it set-up at the beach. The last three photos are my own interpretation and creations. It was definitely challenging to find the right angles with 20 other cameras, but I had a great time! I’ve also used some new post-processing techniques here to give an old-world feel. Enjoy!

Here are a few images from an engagement session last week with Hope and Val. Hope and Val are planning a wedding for this fall. I photographed them at a local nature preserve and we had fun walking and enjoying the scenery. Congratulations to Hope and Val!

Jennifer and Thomas celebrated their marriage on Saturday with a ceremony at Resurrection Catholic Church and reception at Queen’s Harbour Country Club. They are a couple that love to live and laugh. Deland Entertainment hosted the evening’s events as they celebrated with family and friends. Congratulations Jen and Tom!
