A weblog about wedding and portrait photography (and other fun stuff)

Funky. Cool. Sweet. Just a few words to describe Friday night’s engagement session for Mandy and Ebin. Oh yeah, cold too. (It was about 50 degrees downtown!) But, we had fun walking through Memorial Park, stopping for coffee to warm up and then heading down to Five Points to use the graffiti walls as backdrops. Enjoy a few of my favorites…

Congratulations to Christine and Chuck on a wonderful wedding this Saturday held at Our Lady Star of the Sea in Ponte Vedra Beach. After the ceremony they were greeted by the honor guard and we stole a few moments before the rain came to take photographs outside. Christine and Chuck celebrated with friends and family at Queen’s Harbour Country Club. Lisa and the staff did a great job keeping everyone happy and well fed while Carlton McGee of McGee Entertainment was the fabulous DJ. A highlight from the evening was the delicious cream cheese filled cake that they cut with a sword! It was a great day!

This post is really for the fellow photographers that read my blog regularly…

Here are a few of the PG-13 images from a recent boudoir session with Jennifer, one of my brides. Her one year anniversary is coming up this spring and she wants to surprise her hubby with some glamorous images of her. I think he’ll be happy

Here are a few of my favorite images from a recent photo shoot for High School Senior Lexi. Lexi is a cool, creative girl thinking about studying photography in college…a girl after my own heart! She had the cutest clothes and accessories including some adorable red ballet slipper shoes and a retro style tie. Very fashionable! Thanks for a great session Lexi!

At the bridal show on Sunday, my booth was located next to a booth for Love-A Bridal Boutique. They have super cute dresses and we started talking about their new boutique that opened last Valentine’s Day in Jacksonville Beach. Shelly and Frankie invited me in to see the new shop and I stopped by yesterday to check it out. If you haven’t picked out a dress yet, go see the girls at Love. The shop is super cute and they provide personal service. It’s the hot pink building on A1A and 4th Ave North.
Here is a link to their website:http://www.lovebridalboutique.com for more info. Check it out!
“I wish I had a sister!” Those were my exact words half way through this photo session with Amy and her sister Jen. Amy is one of my brides-to-be and their mom wanted to capture the special relationship of her girls before Amy is married. I love my brothers, but there is something unique about sisters that I can appreciate. I think a sister portrait is a wonderful way to celebrate that bond.

Thanks to everyone that stopped by my booth yesterday at the bridal show held at World Golf Village. I thought the show was excellent and loved the new format and layout. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves! If you missed it, here a few pics of my booth set-up. Thanks again!
