Greetings! I am back to work after a great Christmas break. I had a blast celebrating with my husband and our friends, visiting with family, doing community service for the Junior League and cheering on the Jags!
Today I have a wedding in St. Augustine and images from that event will be posted early this coming week. It should be a beautiful event! I can’t wait to share them with you. Also, Happy New Year!

Did you know that 2% of the US population is currently planning a wedding?
That’s about 6 million people across the country sampling wedding cakes, trying on dresses and tuxedos, interviewing photographers, booking reception and ceremony sites and working out all the little details.
I wonder what percentage are “Bridezillas?” 
Last week, Jennifer and Marvin asked me to photograph them and their little dog at the park for a Christmas card photo and family portrait. Since I am a dog lover, this was a really fun photo shoot for me. Look how precious their Yorkie-Poo Jake is! Good boy Jake!
Wow! What a gorgeous wedding on Saturday. Melissa and Josh were married at Ancient City Baptist Church in St. Augustine and celebrated at the Enslin Armory that evening. Everything was gorgeous including the bride, the flowers and the “white winter wonderland” themed reception. Congratulations to Melissa and Josh for a wonderful event and happy marriage!
More good news! Last night at the annual Professional Photographers Society of North Florida (PPSNF) Holiday Party/Awards Banquet I received Third Place for Overall People’s Choice Competition. This is for all People’s Choice print competitions throughout the year and the most ribbons awarded. I was presented with a very nice ribbon and was recognized by my peers. Yeah for me!

I have truly been amazed by all the talented young people I meet by doing senior portrait photography. Brandea is one of those people! She is a talented singer full of grace and confidence. I’m proud to have her as a Senior Ambassador at Douglas Anderson School for the Arts. What a bright future she has!
