Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting brand new baby Nate born to proud parents Katie and Dominick. The pose shown here with the baby resting on dad’s arm came about very naturally. He loves to be held this way and will quickly quiet down if he gets a little fussy and dad swings him on his arm. What a cutie!
Summer is here and it’s a great time for family beach portraits. Here are a few images from a photo shoot I did for my friend Michelle. This is her daughter Gabby who is about 4 years old. For me, a child’s photo shoot is alot more fun if you just let them relax and enjoy the beach. We let her dig in the sand and get her feet wet in the ocean. We had a blast!
What a fun couple! This wedding was held at Immaculate Conception (yep, I’m there alot) and Jacksonville Golf and Country Club. My first time photographing a reception at this country club. For anyone considering this spot, it is beautiful. The staff there is first class and the facilities are beautiful. Brandii and Brian, you both were a joy to work with. Your energy is contagious! Congratulations on an awesome event!
I keep singing that song…”It’s like raaaiiin on your wedding day.” Krista and Stephen had some rain on their big day, but that didn’t prevent us from getting some awesome shots! In fact, it cleared up just long enough for us to do some of the photographs outdoors like we planned. The wedding was held at Immaculate Conception and the reception was at Maggiano’s. Congratulations Krista and Stephen on a beautiful wedding!
I know, you probably read that headline and are thinking, “What!!!???!!!” Trash the dress photo sessions are not for the faint of heart. It’s a photo session done AFTER the wedding and honeymoon are over to symbolically show your husband that you will NEVER need your wedding dress again. The purpose of the photo shoot is to get some very creative and different photos of you in your dress.
The perfect place for this type of photo shoot is at the beach. Yes…you will be rolling around in the sand and surf and your dress will be “trashed.” But, only temporarily. Most often, the dress can be hung to dry and cleaned. If you are recently married and would love to be one of the first to get a “trash the dress” photo shoot by me, please email or call me ASAP.

This is going to be FUN!
I photograph couples in St. Augustine alot. It’s a very popular location for weddings and engagement photo shoots. Because I’m there so often I find myself shooting in my same favorite spots over and over. So, last night at Jennifer and TJ’s engagement photo shoot I decided to change it up a little bit and challenge myself to find different spots to use. I am so glad I did! We found some of the cutest doorways, painted walls and charming side streets just by walking in a different direction. Here a just a couple of my favorites. There were so many good ones, it was really tough! So, congratulations to Jennifer and TJ and thanks for being great with me on our photo shoot adventure! I look forward to your wedding in July.
